Development of a single repository for all instrument static data including identifiers, ratings, counter-parties and schedules within the Fixed Income business. Data is sourced from more than 10 systems both within and outside the bank, merged into a single “golden” copy, and distributed to more than 15 systems within the bank.

Performance improvements to a grid-based pricing and risk platform to incorporate a large increase in trade volumes due to the merger of RBS and ABN AMRO.

Technical Lead of the central control software for the Paradigm Modem, the ground based modem for Skynet 5, the UK military global satellite network.

Enhancements to the Eurocat Flight Data Processor to support dynamic flight paths, ADS-B satellite dependent surveillance and medium-term conflict detection. Founding member of a team to develop a new generation user interface.

Development of a triple redundant rack-mounted platform to support rail applications including interlocking and autonomous train control. Development of a tilt authorization and speed supervision and control system of the high speed tilting trains of the UK west coast mainline.

Performance tuning of critical radar signal processing algorithms and declassification and processing of meterological radar data for civilian use.

Development of a digital voice switching system used in Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport, and a military installation in Taiwan.
